Guided Tours

The guided tour of the Dante’s House Museum focuses on the most important steps in Dante’s life: from his youth spent in Florence to his political and literary career, through the history of medieval Florence, the conflict between Guelphs and Ghibellines, Black Guelphs and White Guelphs, the famous battle of Campaldino, the Arts and the economic boom of the 13th century, and then from exile to the writing of the Divine Comedy, the masterpiece that earned him the title of Father of the Italian language. The visit to the Museum, supported by multimedia content, will be an unforgettable experience that will accompany visitors in the rediscovery of one of the most important authors of Italian literature right in the heart of the medieval Florence where he was born.

The one-hour visit is available for individuals and groups and costs 60€ per tour (to be divided between participants) plus entrance fees.

The Museum also offers the possibility of booking guided tours suitable for children.

The reservation is free but required and must be made at least 7 days in advance.
